Tyler N, To stop invasive species from going to someplace
It exists for a bunch of reasons but one might be to save fishes. If one kind of fish die, then there might be another kind of fish that eat just that fish, so they would die to and it would keep going. So the population of fish, would go down.
~ Molly
I think it exists to make a safer way to go to new places without bringing or taking invasive species away from their habitat.
CJ AUTRY
The EIS exists to stop people from bring invasive species, to stop people from distroying important thing to the government. ex The Brown Tree Snake to Guam
Deric Irish
I think the Environmental Impact statement process exists because they want to protect the invasive species and don't want them to go mess up another group of animals because they do different things. Maybe they want to keep the world healthy and in shape and have all the invasive speciesto live well just like humans. They don't want to mess up animals lives and don't want them to get extincted.
T.J. Reagan
I believe that the EIS statement exists because well, if we didn't have it then a lot of species might die out, and also some species might go endangered, like the brown-tree snake. I believe it is also in position so that the military doesn't bring in any more species to the area.

I think the environmental Impact Statement exists because if we didn't have it then some species would go endangered and some endangered species would go extinct or die out.

I think it exist because we're ruining the environment and if we don't do some thing now it mite be to late.
Simone J. I think the EIS exists so that all of the animals would die off and go extinct.
My guess is that to help animals that are in dangerous. And to stop how are killing all the animals that are in danger.
Ahmad Khan
If we didnt have this EIS system than it would be very easy for species to come over to territories where they did not originate or belong. And if this process wasn't in occurance than many species would slowly die out or become extinct. Because of the intruding animal and the animal that belongs there wouldn't react well together and fight and kill and die out in that area.

I think that the EIS exist because they need to help the environment because if one thing dies that another eats it will affect everything witch would end up hiting us.
Alexis
Another reason could be that it gives the decision makers of the EIS a chance to make more than one decision on what to do with the statment because it tells you the process and how it will affect the environment in positive and negative ways and there is alternative ways to the situation that they can choose from that might be better for the process and have less negatives and more positives. Basically they might have the EIS processes becuase it makes it easier and more descriptive for the people and the decision makers. It stops them from doing the research themselves for the process.
T.J.'s redo
I think the EIS exists so that when the government is trying to do something important, to make sure nothing goes wrong and that they don't harm any kind of animal in a big way.
>>>Brianna M.
I think that the EIS exists so that people can stop species that will ruin a whole ecosystem. If one type of animal eats one, then the whole food chain could get ruined for everything below that kind of animal.
-JON
The eis is there the help the earth.
Ruvim G
I think the report would be made to stop over hunting like T.J. said I also think that the report would be made to stop the introduction of forien species from invading and destroying native species. Tyler N. redo
I think that the EIS process exists to protect the envirorment so that the things that humans do don't destroy it because then we will not exist.
Katie
Emelia
Its there because they had to have some way of defining the decreas of animals.
Partyly its because of humans and some is because of the over eating of animals for some predatores.
I think it exists for the reasons Molly pointed out,and also i think it exists for people don't bring in invasive species which Tyler mentioned.
-Kelsea
It exists because if they didn't the environment would be bad so the EIS helps control it.
If they didn't have an EIS people would just go into a place and destroy the enviorment. Since they have the EIS they only can do sertent things to the enviorment.
